Hi everyone,

Just wanted to jump in to provide our weekly update for you all.

We're continuing to finalize, manufacture, and approach the finish line with this collection and we have some updates to share.

We've finalized the artwork for the Wengie palettes and will share pics when we have a printed sample. The Bold&Bright and Naturally Glam Eyeshadow palette samples have been finished, and you've seen in the previous updates that we're going to be kicking off full production soon.

We've also finished final samples of the Matte Lip Mousse and packaging and they are being reviewed by Lisa and we'll release pics as soon as the print and construction is approved.

We're also moving quickly along in perfecting production of the Eyeliner, which will have an amazing "rainbow gradiant" that will make more sense when we finalize it and send pics.

That being said, we do have something exciting to show you this week. We've discovered where the Unicorn lives! It's a magical little home, and without further ado, here it is:

As always, here is a link to the production matrix:

I hope everyone has a nice weekend, and we'll be back next week. =D

Almost Happy Friday, everyone =D

Just reaching out to you all for our weekly update.

We're a few incremental steps further along and I just wanted to take a moment to share this info with you.

One of our most difficult challenges has been getting the artwork and the construction of the "tri-fold" Eyeshadow Palette correct. It has many folds and a special tray for holding the colors and this creates quite a challenge when it has to be printed and assembled. You'll also discover that the artwork must be custom printed and cut to overlap the mirror and this requires its own unique attention to nuance and detail.

We've had many interesting results when assembling the samples:

We've had samples in which the iconic Lisa Frank logo wasn't properly centered on the sides, or sometimes the artwork from the front bled over to the sides, and we even had a situation in which the samples were folded backwards which made the logos appear upside down!

Lisa has incredible focus and attention to detail, so when she designs this artwork she designs it to be significantly more nuanced and vibrant so that as you open and close the palette or turn it over and look at the sides you get something a little different at every turn. It's really something to behold and we're very very close to finishing this and sending it to you so we're extremely excited.

That being said, let me go ahead and share a short video with you of the Naturally Glam Eyeshadow Palette final sample which is currently being reviewed and is at the final step before full production and shipment:

Additionally, here is the Product Matrix:

Thanks for your patience, everyone.

We'll be back next week!

More Printing, More Progress
about 6 years ago – Fri, Apr 06, 2018 at 12:56:15 AM

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to reach out to share our next update with you all, as promised.

We're still on track according to the production timeline matrix that we've shared for the past 2 updates. We don't have much to report on many products, other than that we're continuing to iron out all the details. The Naturally Glam Eyeshadow Palette and Matte Mousse final samples are one week closer to completion, as is this Lip Balm Tin and the Unicorn Lippie. We're continuing to push our suppliers to make the printing and construction perfect and the colors more and more vibrant.

Here's an updated copy of the production matrix for you to see: PRODUCTION MATRIX

That being said, we do have one very exciting piece of news to share with you. The final production sample of the Bold & Bright Eyeshadow palette has been completed, and it looks really really cool - or should I say, it looks really really BOLD =D. I know that we posted a picture of this several updates ago, but we had a lot of trouble getting the artwork to print properly so that the artwork on the flap lined up seamlessly when closed. You'll see here that we fixed that. We've also completely finalized the colors and formula! Anyway, here it is:

We'll have some new progress and photos to show you next week. Also, we're going to provide some swatches for you to see.

Until next week,

 Peter

Production Progress

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to reach out because we have some exciting updates regarding the progress of the Kickstarter products.

I also want to mention that we are very aware that this update took longer than any of you would like, and we're sensitive to that, and we're going to commit to an update every 7-10 days or so. Sometimes 24-48 hours can make a world of difference for the info we can provide to you, so that's the reason for the wiggle room, but we promise to never take 3-4 weeks to provide an update again. We've slipped on this for far too long, and we're committing to an entirely new direction in how we manage the information we provide to you.

That being said, there has been significant progress on finalizing the Eyeshadow Palettes, Decked Out Cosmetics Bag, Lip Mousses, Lip Balm Tin, Eyeliner, and Unicorn Lippie. Our factories are currently producing final production samples for these products, and if all goes well we are only weeks from starting full production.

Here's an updated product matrix for you to view (here is a link you can click if the picture below is too small to read: https://tinyurl.com/y944h8pk ) We are very aware that you are waiting for a firm ETA, and while we can't provide that quite yet, we should have a concrete idea in the next few weeks.

Also, we have one more fun thing to share with you =) We've received a final production sample of the Decked Out Cosmetics Bag!

And without further ado, here it is:

Thanks everyone for being so patient, and we'll be continuing to post new content as production is rolling.
