What is a “Backer”?
Backers are people who pledge money to join creators in bringing projects to life! Being a backer is more than being a customer. Not only do you make the project go from concept to reality, but you’ll help us in the development process and get the products before they’re available to the general public.

How do I pledge?
To pledge to a project, make sure you’re first logged in to your Kickstarter account. Once you’ve found a project that interests you, just click the green “Back This Project” button on the campaign page.
Next, select the reward you’d like to receive and your pledge amount will automatically populate. If you select a reward that involves shipping, you’ll be prompted to include this additional amount in your pledge.
If you don’t want a certain reward, select “No thanks, I just want to help the project” and enter your desired pledge amount.
After selecting “Continue,” you’ll move on to confirm your payment details. If you’ve backed a project before and saved your payment method details, you can use them over again you’ll have the option to select that payment method. If not, you’ll need to enter the information manually.
Lastly, click the “Pledge” button and you’ll be all set! You should receive a confirmation email within moments of completing your pledge (Kickstarter, 2017).

How can I increase my pledge?
To change your pledge amount, visit the project page and click the blue “Manage” button that appears next to your pledge amount and then select “Change your pledge” on the following page.
From here, you’ll be able to increase your pledge amount by choosing a new reward tier you’d like to pledge for, and your pledge amount will update automatically.
Note: you are not changing your existing pledge amount (unless you would like to just back our project more, if so thank you!) BUT you are choosing the NEW tier of pledge you want to have.

How Do I ADD-ON Items with BACKER KIT?
The 2 Trapper Keeper Eyeshadow Palettes, the #Wengiecorns Trapper Keeper Palette, Single Eyeshadow, Mini Travel Bronzer, Unicorn Crease Brush, and the Unicorn Angled Brush Blush WILL ALL be available as ADD-ON Items in addition to being a part of the current reward tiers.
So, if you only want a few of the above mentioned items and you are on a lower tier, you will have the opportunity to add them on AFTER the campaign ends through the Backer Kit.
ALL tier levels will have the option to Add-On via Backer Kit once the campaign is over.
*all of the above items will be available for $5 each as an add-on, except the #Wengiecorns Trapper Keeper Palette will be $10

How will we be able to help create the products?
The Kickstarter community will be very active and vocal in our production! We will be voting on shades, color names, and even characters! Polls will be posted in Development Updates throughout this campaign and continuing after for backers.

Do I really get 2 UNICORN CREASE BRUSHES?!
YES! If you are backer # 1-3650 you get a free Unicorn Crease Brush just for backing us early on, our way of saying thank you! If you are in the $100 tier you will also get another Crease Brush, so you will have one for your light and dark shadows :)

Are your products made in China?
Yes. We know this is a sensitive topic and would love to open it up for discussion on another forum as we are actively exploring ways to add domestic and localized manufacturing as we grow. Like everyone else we’re bound by the ever-changing realities of the global economy and are trying to bring our customers the best quality product at a price that’s accessible to everyone.
Glamour Dolls products are certified by Leaping Bunny and PETA (you know they don’t mess around) and we only work with factories who have ISO and GMP certification. On a personal level, Jessica and I also care about who is making our goods just as much as who is buying them and spend most nights on Skype working closely with our factories. Tina, Susan, Vanness, Ms. Grace, Tony, and Liva are just some of the real and wonderful people who work every day to help make this dream come true and over the past two years, we’ve gotten to know them as friends, not just trade partners.

I received a shipment with only some of my items — where are the rest?
All the items in your order will ship as soon as they’re available, so you might receive some items individually or in separate shipments. This is to make sure that everything in your order gets to you as quickly as possible.
Don’t worry, the rest of the unshipped items in your order will still arrive once they’re ready to ship.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
